We are full-time motorhome dwellers; known as nomads because we travel from city-to-city and state-to-state. We have a 104-pound two-year old German Shepard, who shows his love by covering most of our belonging under layers of dog hair which includes a pair of heavy-duty fully black-lined insulated polyester draperies; used behind our motorhome driving pit seats for privacy, darkness and minimize heat and air-conditioned usage. However, prior to dropping our previous draperies off at nearby cleaners for dry cleaning. We had to remove the dog hair by using hair removal rollers, duck tape, static spray and brushes as well as pet hair and lint dryer sheets which took days of physical handwork before we could go anywhere near a laundromat to use dryer sheets in a dryer.
Currently, our replacement lightweight draperies seem to repel dog hair, but they have only be up for one week because I had to make alterations to shorten the length. Meanwhile, I am pleased with this purchase because these draperies are well made, the cabin of our motorhome is dark for day naps or sleeping at night. Further, we use less heat and air-conditioner and these draperies makes our motorhome look classy even with alterations. I do wonder if these draperies will look the same once I hand wash them for the first time.
